Refreshed nora by Interface collection ‘pairs classic design with on-trend colours’
NTERFACE, a global flooring solutions company
Iand sustainability leader, has introduced refreshed
colourways for its noraplan stone rubber flooring
collection. This new range is said to elevate the
classic, understated design of the collection with a
modern, versatile colour palette, all while providing the
performance benefits nora by Interface is known for.
Designers and specifiers now have 16 colourways
and two surface options to choose from. ‘With its
discreet, non-directional scatter design, noraplan stone
can stand up to the demands of every space while
providing an elevated design that takes inspiration
from the rich textures and tones of stone.’
‘In 1989, we introduced noraplan stone as the first
product to have contrasting rubber chips in its design,
and it’s been a top performer for us ever since,’ said
Kelly Simcox, head of global design at Interface. ‘With
this updated palette, we’re providing architects and
designers with new colour and aesthetic options for
their projects. We kept a handful of our top-performing
colourways and added other on-trend options that
align with the needs of our customer, all while standing
up to the demands of today’s hardworking interiors.’
‘Timeless design. Fresh colour options’
With noraplan stone, Interface offers a flooring solution
that stands out with its distinctive, direction-free
granulate texture and exceptionally durable surface,
says the company. ‘The refreshed collection offers even
more design versatility and reflects the company’s
commitment to predicting and responding to current
market trends.
‘It features a total of 16 colours, primarily composed
of elegant neutrals, complemented by a selection of
vibrant accent tones designed to create targeted visual
highlights. Both the colour palette and the surface
finishes are designed to be complementary to each nora by Interface collection
other, providing endless design options for interior
spaces.’
‘High-quality rubber. Long-term performance’
Designed for high-traffic areas in schools, hospitals,
and public buildings, noraplan stone delivers what’s
described as measurable benefits in durability,
resilience, and performance. ‘With electrostatic
dissipative and sound-absorbing acoustic options
available, the product also meets extended functional
requirements.
‘Additionally, nora rubber floors don’t require
coating and offer an exceptionally long service life.
This durability, combined with ease of maintenance,
positively impacts life cycle costs and reduces the
environmental footprint of the spaces where it is
installed.’ Concludes the company: ‘Since 2019,
Interface has made significant progress in reducing
the carbon footprint of nora rubber flooring through
manufacturing innovations, raw materials sourcing,
and supplier collaboration.’
