‘Controllable power for your paddles
with Roberts’
OBERTS, a brand of QEP, has launched the Roberts 18V
RCordless Power Mixer, which it says brings greater control
and a long runtime to make short work of on-site mixing
duties.
Says the company: ‘With the new Roberts 18V Cordless
Power Mixer you can enjoy cleaner, quicker on-site mixes. Made
with Roberts’ usual attention to robust quality for today’s
professional installers, the mixer is made with a die-cast metal
gear case and features a powerful brushless motor that gives a
long lifetime and which can handle the heaviest of compounds.
‘Comfort too is maximised with a low weight of just 3.4kg
and an ergonomic dual handle design that makes it easy to
hold.’
When it comes to control, Roberts 18V Cordless Power Mix
‘has your back’, says the company. ‘A two-speed gearbox and
variable six speed dial allow for fine control of your paddles,
adjusting to any compound you’re mixing for the perfect result.
‘And with soft start that gradually increases the speed to
your chosen setting, you’ll stay free from splashes spoiling
those freshly washed work trousers. The trigger lock safety
mechanism will also stop unwanted operation.’
The mixer runs on the QEP CONNECT battery system and is
compatible with QEP 18V 4.0Ah Lithium-ion batteries. With
a dual set-up, these packs, described as high performance,
deliver a 40-minute run time off a single charge and can be
charged with the QEP Cordless Fast Charger.
Roberts 18V Cordless Power Mixer can be equipped with any
M14 threaded paddles up to a diameter of 120mm and spins
up to a maximum 720 RPM, enough to give any compound a
thorough mix.
